1. VII Método Rietveld (Pré-Inscrição)

O método de refinamento Rietveld vem se destacando como um método indispensável na caracterização de materiais policristalinos. Suas potencialidades serão discutidas em profundidade durante os 5 dias de curso. Além de aulas teóricas, será enfatizado o uso dos equipamentos (DRX e FRX) pelos participantes e a utilização da interface gráfica para o programa de refinamento DBWS e GSAS. O curso será destinado a profissionais que atuam nas indústrias, alunos de pós-graduação e pesquisadores que necessitam, nas suas respectivas áreas de análises de estruturas e/ou quantitativas de fases.

This is the 2nd of a series of EuCheMS-sponsored congresses on Green and Sustainable Chemistry that started two years ago in Budapest, Hungary. The first edition gathered participants from more than 20 countries all over the world. This time we expect to keep raising the bar and to consolidate the transformation of the EuCheMS Green and Sustainable Working Party into an EuCheMS Division.

4. 16th Brazilian Meeting on Organic Synthesis
The Royal Society of Chemistry and the organising committee of the 16th Brazilian Meeting on Organic Synthesis (BMOS) would like to invite you to apply for the RSC/BMOS Young Investigator Awards 2015.
The awards support early career researchers from the UK and Latin America to attend the 16th Brazilian Meeting on Organic Synthesis. Winners receive free registration to the meeting, a certificate, an invitation to deliver a flash presentation within the scientific programme and a contribution towards travel and accommodation to attend the conference.
The conference will be held in Búzios, Brazil from 15-18 November 2015 and will include presentations from internationally renowned leaders in the field.
Submissions are open and should be made using the online registration service before the closing date 15 July 2015.
