El XX SINAQO se llevará a cabo en la ciudad de Mar del Plata, del 11 al 14 de noviembre de 2015, en el hotel "13 de Julio".

2. XX Simpósio Brasileiro de Eletroquímica e Eletroanalítica - XX SIBEE
O "SIBEE" é caracterizado pela excelente qualidade dos trabalhos
apresentados, tendo grande diversidade em seus temas, tais como
Eletroanalítica, Eletrocatálise, Eletroquímica Ambiental,
Eletroquímica de Materiais Nanoestruturados, Eletroquímica
Fundamental, Eletroquímica Orgânica, Bioeletroquímica, Energia,
Materiais e Processos Eletroquímicos, Sensores e Biossensores,
Tratamento de Superfície, Corrosão e Passivação, mostrando claramente
o amplo universo da Eletroquímica e Eletroanalítica no Brasil.
O Simpósio já apresenta mais de 300 inscritos, tendo confirmada a
presença de 08 palestrantes de nível internacional para as plenárias,
bem como de mais de 30 palestrantes das keynotes que farão a abertura
das sessões coordenadas, sendo a maioria absoluta Bolsistas de
Produtividade em Pesquisa do CNPq, além de jovens pesquisadores em
ascensão, oriundos de Instituições de diversas regiões do país e do
exterior.

3. 3° Congresso Internacional de Catálise para Biorrefinarias – CATBIOR
O IBP - Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo, Gás e Biocombustíveis promoverá o 3° Congresso Internacional de Catálise para Biorrefinarias – CATBIOR, no período de 27 a 30 de Setembro de 2015, Hotel Windsor Atlântica, Copacabana - Rio de Janeiro.
O principal objetivo deste evento é promover debates produtivos sobre o desenvolvimento de novas transformações catalíticas, a fim de assegurar a implementação do biorrefino na indústria petrolífera tradicional. Além disso, CatBior visa a geração de ideias e conceitos, que abranjam uma extensa variedade de temas que vão desde a ciência pura até desafios tecnológicos.
A programação técnica do Congresso será composta de sessões plenárias, painéis e apresentações de trabalhos técnicos nas sessões orais e pôsteres.

6. International Symposium and Workshop on Astrochemistry - ISWA
Understanding the extraterrestrial molecular complexity through experiments, observations and models

This is the first announcement of the "International Symposium and Workshop on Astrochemistry - ISWA: Understanding the extraterrestrial molecular complexity through experiments, observations and models".

The main goal of this event is get together experimentalists, observers and modelers interested to contribute to the progress of the knowledge in astrochemistry. Additionally, during the symposium, we will have two hands-on workshops: One focused in experimental astrochemistry and other focused on observations. The hands-on workshops will have activities on the proposal submissions to the LNLS (Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory) laboratory, data reduction and to LLAMA (Large Latin American Millimeter Array) and ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter Array) radio observatories.
During this meeting we will also have an opportunity to follow a real astrochemical experiment (in real time) at one of the beam lines of the LNLS that simulates the interaction between UV and soft X-rays with astrophysical ice analogs.
The scientific topics of this meeting include:
Astrophysical ices - Spectroscopy, Molecular processes, Energetic Processing (UV, X-rays, UV/VIS, Electrons, Ions)
• Formation of complex species in ices - Astrobiology
• Surface Chemistry, Thermal programed desorption
• Gas phase experiments on astrochemistry
• Detection of molecules in astrophysical environments (radio, infrared)
• Astrochemical models, abundances, chemical evolution.
The format of the meeting will consist of talks gives by main speakers, oral presentations and posters. A list of invited speakers will be available on the website soon.
The Symposium will be held at the Historic Farm-Hotel "Solar das Andorinhas" (http://www.hotelfazendasolardasandorinhas.com/indexingles.asp) located in Campinas, SP, Brazil. The participants of the meeting will have a thematic conference dinner with a typical Brazilian winter party called "Festa Julina" with includes also a fire and typical drinks and foods.
We are looking forward to an exciting meeting and hope to welcome you in Brazil next year in the beginning of July.
