1. 2º Encontro Nacional de QuÃmica Biotecnológica e Agroindustrial
USP-Ribeirão Preto - 03 a 06 de Setembro
O Encontro Nacional de QuÃmica Biotecnológica Agroindustrial - ENQBIOTEC na sua segunda edição pretende a divulgação e integração acadêmico/industrial das áreas de quÃmica tecnológica, biotecnologia e agroindústria para promover ações de desenvolvimento de tecnologias economicamente viáveis e com sustentabilidade ambiental. Assim, este evento pretende reunir profissionais, alunos de graduação e de pós-graduação das áreas de quÃmica, biologia, bioquÃmica, farmácia, alimentos e biotecnologia para gerar discussões e tratar sobre temáticas de interesse atual por meio de conferências, palestras, sessões coordenadas, palestras técnicas, apresentação de trabalhos cientÃficos, minicursos; contribuindo para a melhoria da formação dos participantes, incentivando e divulgando a produção cientÃfica e tecnológica nestas áreas.

2. XXV Encontro Nacional da SPQ (XXV-EN)
O XXV Encontro Nacional da SPQ (XXV-EN) será realizado na Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Lisboa, entre os dias 16 e 19 de Julho de 2017.
Abraçando o tema "A quÃmica em ação", o XXV-EN apresentará um programa cientÃfico cativante liderado por peritos de renome Internacional (a lista de plenaristas confirmados encontra-se em abaixo), que se focarão no papel central que a QuÃmica desempenha hoje em dia na resolução de problemas fundamentais da Sociedade Moderna na interface com a Biologia, Ciências de Materiais e do Ambiente.

3. 18th International Conference on Internal Friction and Mechanical Spectroscopy (ICIFMS-18)
The 18th International Conference on Internal Friction and Mechanical Spectroscopy (ICIFMS-18) will be held on September 12-15, 2017, in Foz do Iguaçu (Iguazu Falls), Brazil, with the support of Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) and Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar).
The conference is the 18thof a series which began in Providence (USA) in 1956 and continued in Ithaca (USA, 1961), Manchester (England, 1965), Providence (USA, 1969), Aachen (Germany, 1973), Tokyo (Japan, 1977), Lausanne (Switzerland 1981), Urbana (USA, 1985), Beijing (China, 1989), Rome (Italy, 1993), Poitiers (France, 1996), Buenos Aires (Argentina, 1999), Bilbao (Spain, 2002), Kyoto (Japan, 2005), Perugia (Italy, 2008), Lausanne (Switzerland 2011) and Hefei (China, 2014).
The ICIFMS-18 will be a great opportunity for the exchange of experience, innovative ideas and research results focused on the theory, advances and applications of internal friction and mechanical spectroscopy, dynamic-mechanical analysis, high damping materials and new techniques of internal friction and mechanical spectroscopy. The exchange of ideas and discussion make ICIFMS-18 an unmissable event.
The Conference program will consist of plenary lectures and invited lectures of the last significant discoveries and developments in all fields of mechanical spectroscopy and related fields. Abstracts submitted will be evaluated in relation to the quality and impact. The accepted abstracts will be assigned to the oral presentation and poster sessions, and will appear in the conference proceedings. The papers presented will be published as regular papers in a special issue of the open access and ISI indexed journal, Materials Research.
In addition, we are preparing several social activities, because we believe that the good humor and a festive atmosphere helps in social interaction and in the formation of friendships and interpersonal relationships network, which greatly assists in the development of work and research and the exchange of experiences and knowledge among its members.
