Special issue "Perspectives in Asymmetric Catalysis"

We would like to cordially invite you to submit papers for consideration for publication in the special issue "Perspectives in Asymmetric Catalysis" (http://degruyteropen.com/tiasymmetriccatalysis/) guest-edited by Prof. Luiz Carlos Dias for the recently launched Journal Asymmetric Catalysis, by De Gruyter Open (http://www.degruyter.com/view/j/asorg).

Asymmetric Catalysis covers quite well known and capital fields such as organometallic and bioorganic catalyses as well as the emerging and growing fast research area of organocatalysis. The journal reflects the full breadth of research in these fields, from methodologies to synthetic applications or mechanistic studies. Asymmetric Catalysis is an open access, electronic only publication platform employing world's top publishing technologies, and is published within Emerging Science Journals, unprecedented publishing program dedicated to young and rapidly developing research areas.

Additionally, the Journal Advisory Board has gathered a number of key academics, who are working in this field (including among others, Yujiro Hayashi, Svetlana B. Tsogoeva, Petri Pihko, Peter I. Dalko, Pher Andersson, Jan H. van Maarseveen, Andrei V. Malkov, Olga García Mancheño, José Alemán, Fernando López Garcia, Thavendran Govender, Babak Karimi, Antonio Massa, Mikel Oiarbide, Oscar Pàmies, Gabriel Radivoy, Rita Ventura, Jan Veselý, and Jung Woon Yang) and who guarantee a high profile to our publications

Asymmetric Catalysis invites manuscripts for the special issue on "Perspectives in Asymmetric Catalysis", which highlights the most recent aspects of asymmetric catalysis, where an achiral substrate is converted to a chiral product by means of a chiral catalyst. The increasing demand for chiral compounds that serves as pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, flavors, fragrances, and materials has stimulated intensive research in the field of asymmetric catalysis. This special issue on asymmetric catalysis comprises perspectives and research articles in this very exciting field of research.

We solicit excellent research and survey articles, as well as communications, reviews, mini-reviews, accounts and vision papers to be published in the journal. The manuscripts submitted in response to this invitation will be processed with the highest priority and all accepted papers will be immediately available on-line.

Manuscripts should be submitted to the journal via online submission system Editorial Manager available for this journal at http://www.editorialmanager.com/asorg/. In case of problems, please contact the Editorial Office of this journal at asorg.editorial@degruyteropen.com.

As author you can enjoy the following benefits:

- transparent, comprehensive and fast peer review;
- convenient, web-based manuscript submission and tracking system;
- efficient route to fast-track publication and full advantage of De Gruyter's e-technology;
- no publication charge in the first two annual volumes;
- free language assistance for authors from non-English speaking regions.

We are looking forward to your manuscript! Please feel free to forward this invitation to any interested colleagues and associates.
