Call for applications for the RSC/BMOS Young Investigator Award 2015 (16th Brazilian Meeting on Organic Synthesis)

Applicants must be 40 years old or under on 15 July 2015. Applications are welcome from candidates based in Latin America and the UK and Ireland. There are 2 RSC/BMOS Young Investigator Awards available for UK based researchers and 2 RSC/BMOS Young Investigator Awards available for Latin American based researchers.
The winner will be selected by a selection committee that will include members of the Organic Division of the Royal Society of Chemistry and from the BMOS Organising Committee. Winners will receive a free registration to the 16th BMOS, a certificate, an invitation to deliver a flash presentation and a contribution towards travel and accommodation to attend the conference.
Submissions will open on the 15 March - applications should be made using the online registration link. The closing d! ate for reciept of applications is 15 July 2015.
Documents needed for submission:
• a supporting statement to include a paragraph outlining why attendance at this conference would be beneficial
• abstract of your proposed flash presentation
• a brief biological sketch [curriculum vitae; ca. 1 page] which should include date of birth, summary of education and career, a list of no more than 5 relevant publications;
• The biographical sketch [curriculum vitae] should also include evidence of independence and originality/impact of research
