1. PCNSPA Conference 2016 - Photonic Colloidal Nanostructures: Synthesis, Properties, and Applications
PCNSPA Conference 2016 - Photonic Colloidal Nanostructures: Synthesis, Properties, and Applications
June 27 - July 1, 2016 in St. Petersburg, Russia
A conference dedicated to colloidal quantum dots, where the latest developments in the fundamental science and applications of these nanomaterials will be presented and discussed by leading scientists.
Colloidal quantum dots, tiny semiconductor nanocrystals formed of few hundreds to few thousands of atoms, not only display exceptionally interesting fundamental properties, they also have the potential to revolutionize optical imaging and sensing, lasers, solar cells, light-emitting diodes, nanocrystal-based electronics, bio- and chemo-sensing, theranostics, etc.
The PCNSPA Conference 2016 will provide an international forum for physicists, chemists,
biologists, material scientists, polymer scientists, chemical engineers and researchers in Photonic colloidal nanostructures to gather and discuss their latest results in one of the most exciting fields of contemporary research, and to develop and extend their international collaborations.

3. 6th International IUPAC Conference on Green Chemistry
Venice on 4-8 Sept 2016
After Dresden, Moscow, Ottawa, Foz do Iguaçu and Durban, the IUPAC Green Chemistry Conferences will move to Italy... to Venice.
We believe that the perception that Society has of the role of chemistry is being elevated by these IUPAC Conferences, and that chemists deserve to be perceived as people who create a dialogue with politicians, economists, entrepreneurs, and opinion formers. Green Chemists map the way to a sustainable future, and foster the development of industrially significant, and economic, breakthrough technologies.
