Considering the growing number and the quality of publications from Latin American researchers in Ultrasonics Sonochemistry journal, we would like to invite researchers from countries in Latin America to submit their studies to this Special Issue.
Brazil is the leading country in Latin America, with the highest number of publications in the chemistry field, also being among the top five countries with accepted papers in Ultrasonics Sonochemistry in 2020. Other Latin American countries have also published many papers in Ultrasonics Sonochemistry and these numbers show the relatively high contribution of Latin America to the success and increase of impact factor of Ultrasonics Sonochemistry. It is clear that there is an increasing effort by the scientific community of Latin America to the development of systems and applications in ultrasonics sonochemistry field.
We welcome the submission of Full length Research Articles, Reviews and Short Communications, and all articles will be subject to peer-review process. Ultrasonics Sonochemistry has become an open access since the beginning of 2021, but for this Special Issue accepted manuscripts will be no charged.
