Advancing neglected diseases Drug Discovery in endemic areas

In 2023, DNDi celebrates its 20th anniversary. We also celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Lead Optimization Latin American (LOLA) consortium, the first early-stage drug discovery program launched by DNDi in Latin America, in collaboration with the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and the University of São Paulo (USP).

We are excited to share with you the details of the upcoming event “Advancing neglected diseases drug discovery in endemic areas” organized by DNDi and UNICAMP. The event will take place on October 19th and 20th, at the UNICAMP campus, Campinas, Brazil (with online streaming available).

In this symposium, an international group of experts from academia, research institutes, and pharmaceutical companies, as well as other key stakeholders will share knowledge and success stories in drug discovery for infectious diseases, and discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with the development of strategic medicines in endemic areas.
